Nam Q

U.S. Army – DeVry University

Nam Huynh has served in the U.S. Army for 6 years and is currently an active reservist in a unit based in Arden Hills, Minnesota. He was deployed to Afghanistan in June 2013.

Nam joined the military to help further his education, but it wasn’t until after he joined that he realized what the Army would teach him in everyday life. Being in the army instilled hard work ethic in him as well as taught him strong leadership skills. Nam’s many endeavors in the Army helped him in more ways than one when it came to his many roles as a military service member. Some awards and achievements he was given include Afghanistan Campaign medal with Campaign star, Army Commendation medal, and Nation Defense Service medal.

His education goals are to attend DeVry University to study Justice Administration with a concentration on Policing. After graduating, Nam hopes to work for a federal agency where he can apply his skills and knowledge to help people within his community.
