Bobby K

U.S. Army National Guard – DeVry University

After graduating high school in 2003, Bobby Krueger joined the U.S. Army as a Signal Support Systems Specialist. He was honorably discharged in 2011, and immediately joined the National Guard. Both his father and grandfather served in the Army, which pushed him to make the decision to join. Bobby was unsure of his goals and ambitions, but he knew that joining the Army would allow him to see the world and find himself.

Throughout his duty, Bobby played multiple roles such as a Signal Support Systems Specialist for 11 years, a Battalion Information Management Officer, and a Battalion COMSEC Custodian. He had received multiple awards and honors such as the Army Commendation Medal (ARCOM), Army Achievement Medal (AAM), National Defense Service Medal, and several others.

After being discharged in 2011, Bobby started to consider furthering his education. He plans on attending DeVry University to fulfill a Bachelor’s degree in Network and Communications Management, as well as obtaining certificates in the field to add to his qualifications. Bobby hopes to work for the U.S. Government as an Information Management officer.
