Daughter of two U.S. Army veterans – University of Toledo
Both of Angela’s Jemerson’s parents served in the U.S. Army and were awarded several medals and accommodations while they were active duty. For 23 years, her father served in several leadership positions including First Sergeant in the Engineer Corps and Drill Sergeant. Her mother served as an Army Staff Sergeant and Logistic Supervisor for 12 years.
Being a part of a military family her whole life, Angela has acquired great leadership skills. She feels that a leader is someone who not only gives authoritative direction, but helps those around them in order to reach a common goal. She is studying Exercise Science with a concentration in Physical Therapy at the University of Toledo, and hopes to leave a positive and lasting affect on people’s lives by allowing them to feel like themselves again.
