Our sponsor Fifth Third Bank has received many awards and accolades for its commitment to our veterans’ community, including the prestigious IL Governor’s Serve Award, Illinois Bankers Association Community Service Project of the Year award and the Hermes Platinum Award for CSR.  The bank’s year-round commitment includes raising and donating over $500,000 to fund educational scholarships to veterans and their families; helping nearly 1000 veterans connect to local employers who are hiring through their annual Veterans Day Hiring Fair; annually underwriting the costs of pet adoptions for veterans including those suffering from PTSD and traumatic brain injury, and have collected, donated and assembled thousands of items that were sent overseas as care packages to troops from the Chicago region.

Chicago Charity Clays is an Illinois 501(c)(3) that hosts a multi-day charity event that raises funds for TWO military charities.  The Illinois Patriot Education Fund receives half of the funds raised for the military charities.  The Chicago Charity Clays two-day event begins with the VIP Shooting session, then Cocktail hour later in the evening followed by a Dinner Party and Auction, which officially kicks off the two-day event.  The next day is the main Sporting Clays Shoot and Shooting Tournament at the esteemed Northbrook Sportsman’s Club.  Chicago Charity Clays delivers high-quality, elite-caliber value for the substantial sponsorship dollars required to participate.  We hope to see you there.


Team Hochberg at Pearl Mortgage is doing a year long fundraiser with proceeds benefitting the Illinois Patriot Education Fund. “I believe getting an education is crucial especially for our post-9/11 Illinois military families. The least I can do is give back to those who protect our freedoms by closing the tuition gaps in the Post-9/11 GI Bill through my fundraising efforts with Team Hochberg at Perl Mortgage”, says David Hochberg. The Chicago Cultural Mile Association is an independent not-for-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness of the unique strengths and diverse offerings available to visitors frequenting our strategic location. CCMA is composed of institutions, businesses and individuals who support the CCMA’s goal to:
  • Promote the institutions, businesses, and attractions along the Mile
  • Enhance the Cultural Mile streetscape, including our initiative to develop Grant Park South
  • Market and brand the Chicago Cultural Mile as a destination avenue
  • Create networking and partnership opportunities for members
  • Build a premier merchant-based advocacy group for citizens and stakeholders of our district
